The LIVES Centre is a place of expertise, exchange and scientific debate for the study of the life course. It aims to promote interdisciplinary, inter-institutional and international collaborations in this field of research.
Any researcher from the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva (professors, lecturers, postdocs, assistants, doctoral students) involved in life course research can apply to join the LIVES Center as a member. In addition, researchers from other institutions (universities, universities of applied science) interested in joining our network can become associate members.
If you are interested, please contact lives.scientific@unil.ch
As a member, you benefit from the following advantages:
- You are regularly informed about our different activities and support (e.g. communication about our members’ research, scientific events, working groups)
- You can associate your projects related to the life course to the LIVES Center
- You can create or join our Working Groups
- You have privileged access to our training offer on the life course (doctoral program and individual modules)
- LIVES members from the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva can benefit from research grants and our invitation program for international researchers
In return, we encourage our members to mention their affiliation to the LIVES Center in their publications linked to life course research and to use the LIVES tag when depositing their publications in SERVAL (UNIL) or Archive ouverte (UNIGE).
