Although the study of social class is part of a long tradition of sociological research, little is known about the psychological differences between people of different socio-economic status.
The aim of the Ambizione project, led by Dr Anatolia Batruch at the University of Lausanne, is to expand our knowledge in this area by studying how socio-economic status affects relationships with others (both intra- and inter-group), taking into account the psychological, identity and cultural specificities engendered by differences in socio-economic status.
